The next civil liberties fight

Secret Plan To Kill Internet By 2012 Leaked?

Civil liberties are pretty much gone now. We can fight to get them back. Currently, we have the Internet. However, this document, cites government and corporate documents that propose getting rid of the free internet system, replacing it with one where we all have myspace type pages, but pay per view access to everything else, nothing free, thereby limiting it to corporate websites. In a nutshell, it appears that the corporate system that is busy taking our liberties, is presently and has previously been planning to do away with free speach on the internet that we currently take advantage of via wonderful sites like housepricecrash.co.uk - Now, there is something you can do. e-mail your service provider with a link to this and ask them questions. E-mail your MP, contact your friends.

  • THE FRENCH GOVERNMENT has apparently decided that it doesn’t much like being democratic, and that it would rather like to censor the Internet instead.

In fact, worse still is that any site is now game for a French blockade, as Sarkozy’s government is inviting people to send in huge long lists of sites which offend their delicate sensibilities. The French government, which will purportedly be able to receive complaints from Internet users in real time, will be able to add sites to a so called “black list”, which it will then force national ISPs to block.

  • Quote – For me, I try to find the lesson in everything past or present, good or bad. By nature, I’m a realist at heart and try to avoid being paranoid and do not usually place much trust in conspiracy theories. Yet, if time and magic bullets and official lies about September 11, 2001 have taught us anything, it’s all-too-obvious we now know that many conspiracy theories — a synonym for real crimes committed with the culprits running amuck.

Understand this well, the Federal Reserve scam is no foolish conspiracy theory. It’s real. It exists. It’s illegal. And it’s still currently conducting business today on American soil. And its owners are getting rich beyond belief. Rest assured, this will continue unabated unless we unite against them to take back what is ours — our country, our lives and our sacred financial freedom — all of which will lie in limbo until we do.

For decades, Fed owners have been very illusive, a well-kept secret, but thanks to the Internet, the last bastion of free-flowing information, they could not elude us forever. Its ownership can be traced to a few wealthy simpletons with big pocketbooks. Memorize this list well. Become aware, tell everyone, these are the architects or our demise:

    1) Rothschild Bank of England.
    2) Warburg Bank of Hamburg.
    3) Rothschild Bank of Berlin.
    4) Lehman Brothers of New York.
    5) Lazard Brothers of Paris.
    6) Kuhn Loeb Bank of New York.
    7) Israel Moses Seif Banks of Italy.
    8) Goldman, Sachs of New York.
    9) Walburg Bank of Amsterdam.
    10) Chase Manhattan Bank of New York

  • Firstly, spamming people will only reinforce their argument that control action must be taken.
Second, I think another ‘Internet’ would be born that would make the first redundant.
Thirdly, some control is needed in order to protect children and the vulnerable.
Fourthly, big business relies more and more on a daily basis on a freely available internet for profitable trade.
Fifthly, consider the recent outcry about the Chinese limiting Google.
IMHO the freely available internet is here to stay.

  • Not sure about Prison Planet myself – seems rather sensationalist, and employs the same tactics as the tabloids. However, what is undoubtedly the case is that throughout history tyrants and despotic regimes have attempted to snuff-out the freedoms of the people over whom they have power. Why should today be any different? Unlike p.doff, who is clearly a witless cretin, it is as well to be vigilant – not because there is necessarily any basis to this story, but as an insurance policy should it be correct.

  • Sorry Harold .

But exactly why is p.doff a “witless cretin” ?

I really can’t see anything that he/she said which could justify your comment .

    “Nice boobs.”

Matter of personal opinion . Do you not allow that ?

“Pity the rest of the clip is a letdown.”

True as it gave no actual evidence and was a waste of time in my opinion (if I’m allowed one) .

“If this control thing would reduce or stop those flippin’ viagra and fake watch spam mails I get then I’m all for it.”
    .

Couldn’t agree more from that point of view . If I could get hold of the bastidos spamming me I’d show them what their genitals are not for . Copper wire is fun .

Now., the most likely source of control is via nasty stuff like what you mention. BUT, the porn industry is run by the establishment. They will plant it, then use it as an excuse to regulate it.

Guys, the article itself, is referenced to actual government documents. None of it is made up. Just follow the links. You can choose to listen to these spooks who come on here with nothing better to do than poo poo things. They don’t contribute to any other treads meaningfully, so are they just here to stop people thinking? Well, the risk of not looking into this is just too great. So I urge all libertarian minded individuals here, those who understand that their access to information, which let them make independent decisions, that we rely on this open source.

If we didn’t have it, many of you would have bought houses and not sold to rent. Your future, your freedom, the size of your estate, the amount your children will inherit is dependent on free source media. Protect it whilst you can. Spread the word. And remember Jefferson, who told us that, if we give away freedoms for security, we get neither.

It worries me that this kind of rubbish gets spouted on this website as it destroys any credibility the site has.

  • This is of course a very real and likely scenario. The presentation could have been more conventional to avoid the obvious criticism it would instantly attract, The idea that business would inhibit such an event is not imo valid, as business itself is about control and the more control the easier the business.
The Internet presently gives the greatest freedom on a worlwide basis for free speech and should be protected and always considered,as it is both new and vulnerable.
Might be a good idea to read this ‘refreshing’ Times article also :

If you look closely during the video during the bit where the second guy speaks (black hair) and gets really excited there is a rapid shot to the porn star (yes she is a porn star as there are several other links offering to see her naked). Anyway, whilst the black haired guy is chatting there is a rapid shot of she of magnificant proportions and in the shot she has something written on her boobs that is very interesting. Take a look.

Prison Planet is a well known site for conspiraloons and my intentionally inane comment was merely intended to demonstrate my contempt for the like and allow it the credibility it deserves.
My second comment was in response to p4ac’s stupid and self defeating suggestion that people spam their ISP, and was a subtle attempt to show how such an action would be regarded by the recipient. Renting2 makes the same point in a more direct manner, but apologies if my way was a bit too subtle for you.

  • Web Designer says:

Anybody who doesn’t believe this conspiracy theory isn’t possible should do a search for net neutrality. This is a story that has been festering for years on sites like Digg.com. The big US ISPs want to change the law so they can start charging businesses for a premium rate service, where they give priority traffic to those that can pay.

This would create a two tier internet where the tap could be turned off for sites that refuse to pay what amounts to extortion. This could suppress traffic to the small players, capping hits, stifling creativity and ingenuity. The part of the internet you will be able to see will depend on what agreements your particular ISP has with whom. No doubt it would also introduce the infrastructure for governments to also restrict traffic. Many ISPs already use bandwidth throttling to stop customers using popular services.

It can be difficult for the sheeple to see how this could eventually effect them, in the same way that it is difficult for a Daily Mail reader to see how their rights are being curtailed by anti terror laws. This video attempts to explain this and the possible consequences. It is easy to read too much intent into the ISP and blue chip’s actions, however that is not to say the combined result of the establishments greed will have the same result.

These people are so evil, that they will create, post and use this stuff to give them an excuse to control our freedoms and liberties.

At the moment, they can already look at sites. They can already search for them. They are talking about tracking our every key stroke, all our personal info, snooping on us all the time. The current law lets them look at websites and lets them raid people behind stuff that breaks the law. You idiots are here enjoying free speech and then use the propoganda to justify them taking away all of your rights and freedoms. I really do give up.

Well, I think the idea that you have any real freedom is an illusion. And frankly when you look at what “freedom” has produced you kind of wonder about the other thing. I think there is always a balance. This is not a new problem. Read Plato’s republic.

Really, ask yourself why we have two tier system. The house of Lords is an essential part of our democracy and in fact everyone couldn’t vote until 1928 (women got the vote). The reality which Plato points out is that the mob is liable to be even more tyrannical than a king.

Someone has pointed out the where the relevance to HPC comes in. I suppose it boils down the fact that the mania about housing has been so relentlessly pushed by the media as was the dot com bubble that we have come to the sad realization about how limited the press is in its freedom to go against the herd. I think the problem is too much democracy, not too little when it comes to bubbles. Democracy is the perfect breeding ground for herd behavior. Ignorant large groups of individuals moving in predictable patterns. The Internet doesn’t seem to solve the problem it actually seems to make it worse.

As to the porn, shut it down is what I say, they use up bandwidth and promote a crazy morality/behaviour that encourages the spread of disease. Some control is required. Maybe we could extend it to other forms of porn, property porn perhaps? 😉

The important thing is to defend the rights of legitimate sites by hammering the government on what the law says about harassment of legitimate sites by the government, special interest groups, etc, etc. We have to engage in the debate about what legitimate means, there is no such thing as moral neutrality.

Maybe, we should have just made Kirsty Allsop and Sarah Beany illegal. 😉 You must ask for permission to speak Kirsty and Sarah.

Last Days of Disco. Fascinating point about democracy, and you are half right. The Fiat system is rigged in a way that encourages greed and insecurities. Its instabilities create mania and herd mentality. One could say that it has been generated to herd us. Of course, seen from our perspective, this is illogical, because we cannot understand why anybody would wish to have financial turmoil. But the financiers see it a very different way. The great depression was a coup, the coup for them. The greed mania that led up to it gave them an opportunity to laden a populace with debt that had been completely protective of its financial freedoms and independence before, and protective of its constitutional right to a sound money system. The crash? It affectively made the country bankrupt, giving the bankers the opportunity to monetize almost everything, most importantly, to monetize the public debt. This is when they bought congress and the presidency. All of the people, including the political leadership were herded into a situation where they sold all their assets and their political process. Government was sucked in, because the central banks promised in return to buying them, that they would have an endless supply of fiat currency to build a welfare state. Neither party fully expressing to the masses that many of the social programs were only used to mask problems with the fiat system to the point were people would not revolt against it, or, to support special commercial interests, and in some case, personal agenda’s of the elite.

So, back to democracy. The fiat money system herds us to a situation where democracy has lost the battle. It so manipulates us that we cannot function properly, and politicians can justify taking away our freedoms. This is never a good idea, because they are more in with the fiat system than anybody else, so all of the greed, and the chaos of the system becomes distilled and amplified through a smaller leadership, where they are herded ever forward towards tyrannical rule, in support of their central bank masters who are constantly threatening to pull the plug on the welfare state or offering more and more money for new initiatives. So, it is easy for the central banks to slip inbetween, legislation that supports their commercial interests and personal agenda’s of individuals/think tanks within the contral bank machine.

Debt free. Thankyou for the opportunity to counter that. You refer to the Gulf of Tonkin attack that led to the Vietnam War. It had the same affect on the US public as 9/11 did in facilitating a groundswell of support for invasion of Iraq.

Well, ignore Alex Jones for a minute, and focus on the issue. US government documents have been declassified that demonstrate he is right about it being a false flag event. Where to get the source? Look at Wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_of_Tonkin_Incident – I quote, from the wiki and from the US document itself:

In 2005, it was revealed in an official NSA declassified report[2] that the USS Maddox first fired warning shots on the August 2 incident and that there may not have been North Vietnamese boats at the August 4 incident. The report said

[I]t is not simply that there is a different story as to what happened; it is that no attack happened that night. […] In truth, Hanoi’s navy was engaged in nothing that night but the salvage of two of the boats damaged on 2 August.[3]

    ——-

And An hour later, at 1:27 p.m. Washington time, Herrick sent a cable in which he admitted that the attack may never have happened and that there may actually have been no Vietnamese naval craft in the area: “Review of action makes many reported contacts and torpedoes fired appear doubtful. Freak weather effects on radar and overeager sonarmen may have accounted for many reports. No actual visual sightings by Maddox. Suggest complete evaluation before any further action taken”[10]

  • p4ac,

by not letting go, you are eating away at yourself and not living in the moment.

you have to let go of the past and future as it does not change the present. for example, some people are angry that they sold their house for it to be sold for 50% more. but why worry ? its not for them to sell on anymore. the same goes for conspiracy theories and alike.

    you have to ask yourself:

why worry about something thats happened ?
why hold on to a problem that hasn’t yet happened ?

many people, including alex jones from pp said ‘planes will fall from the sky when the Y2K problems occur’ did they ? no.

if you want to help, then start being positive and thinking about TODAY and what the internet does TODAY.

a dying man doesn’t think about how he got the disease or how he will die, he thinks about making the best of the moment and living for the moment. the mental state of worrying and thinking about the future and past will kill him quicker.

    LET GO !!

    all the best
