I see potential for a new property show on channel 4 – add £100k to the value of your street – “the addition of Victorian lamp posts will instantly add value to your street” – houses in streets that have “charachter” will rise 10 times faster in value than normal.
Now where is Kirsty and that hat – she wasnt wearing it last week when spotted as one of the guests at “an audience with Neil Diamond” – perhaps she’s ate it by now?

Don’t let the local council ‘enhance’ your area, as the next logical step is to raise the council tax bands there!

You’ll probably find some of the councillors or their relatives live in Clifton.

Surprised they didn’t melt them down and ship them out to China to make them in to toys.

How much does that devalue a street by I wonder?

Ah well, at least they’ll have something to **** the bankers from.

Paint them Magnolia and your house will be worth double!

If they painted them Magnolia then your house in that street has got to be worth double!

If they’d been moved the other way I bet the headline would have been somewhat different.

Ok – I live in St.Andrews and I have to say it was sneakily done. I got back from work one day to find them gone. It’s a little disconcerting

plato I think you have it.
Self interest always looks better when it can be dressed up as a selfless act of conservation.

Disgusting, but completely predictable. The class system in this country is endemic and ruinous.
