Only 9%!
HBOS reveals £1billion in writedowns
Halifax Bank of Scotland spread more gloom in the banking sector today as it revealed £1 billion in write-downs and warned that house prices could now fall 9% this year.

We covered the HBOS 9% numptiness earlier today, if they checked their own May index they would see that prices have already fallen 6.6% this year. So unless the rate at which prices falling goes down to less than half a per cent a month (MWUAH HA HA) ….
