“Beeny’s amateur developers could paint the wet room with fairy dust; they’re not going to get their money back”

According to research by leading mortgage lender Halifax, we’re a nation on the verge of a summer DIY splurge. And yet any casual observer of Channel 4’s Property Ladder knows that it’s not décor that adds value to a home, it’s the market. When the market’s riding high, no amount of cack-handed incompetence – regardless of how much Sarah Beeny and the viewers pray for economic retribution – results in anything other than a profit. In a static or falling market, Beeny’s amateur developers could paint the wet room with fairy dust; they’re not going to get their money back.

Could Little Prof or somebody remind me how to insert a photo? It is against the law to mention Sarah B without using a picture of her in ‘comely’ mode.
