Flow Of Oil Stops

The Coming Showdown In Iran

With enough anti-ship missiles, the Iranians can halt tanker traffic through Hormuz for weeks, even months. With the flow of oil from the Gulf curtailed, the price of a barrel of crude will skyrocket on the world market. Within days, the global economy will begin to grind to a halt.

  • Bummer. Websense blocked this site, labelling it a racism and hate site.

On another note I hear that America has just put another carrier in the Gulf…

We need their oil, they need our money. That’s the beauty of free trade. People do it even if they hate each other, to mutual benefit. If they wanted they could just turn off the taps, no need to sink ships or anything.

There’s bugger all coming out of Iraq (except from Kurdistan, and that goes north via a pipeline, I thought).

And Saudi tankers go nowhere near there.

  • Why is this place turning into a consipracy-theory fantasyland?

I’m not denying the possibility of war with Iran, or even the possibility of a conspiracy to cause it. I am denying that these wingnuts would know anything about it. Check out their Columbine links, then try tell me this site isn’t pure anti-semitic conspiracy theory.

This place is getting kookier by the minute. Who’s letting this stuff through?
