  • Ugh. I normally think Guthrie’s right on the money, but this is a pile of poo. Industry can get all p1ssy if it likes, but it’s the explosion of credit that’s fed the good times recently. No banks, no demand for your widgets in the first place.

  • Its not just businesses, they are making everyone fume. They lend recklessly to get their bonuses, then try to hold the BOE to ransom to avoid the consequences of their actions.
    If the banks had been more prudent then businesses would have orientated themselves to more productive activity than supplying the wants of a consumer binge.
    Still whats the point in whinging, its too late now, the UK is screwed and there will be massive pain before any progress is made.
