  • local council workers were targetting 6 pct to start.

MPs were looking for higher than that weren’t they. How much are the MPs paid by the way? versus Cabinet Minister vs. Prime Minister vs. senior civil servant?

I cant remember what the pay scales are.

  • Those evil Socialist Unions are at it again are they? I mean, imagine demanding that that their members don’t suffer real term pay cuts in order to bail out BTL speculators and investment banks from the financial carnage caused by BTL speculators and investment banks! What a bunch of ‘loony lefties’! Don’t they understand that Goldman bonuses are more important than workers real living conditions?
