About time

Bring it on

The drop in house prices might be a disaster for many home-owners, but some first-time buyers see it as a godsend.

I can’t agree more that it is about time the countries house prices come down. I have a good salary but it is worthless when it comes to buying a home, I’ve been looking and saving hard for over 5 years and no way can my personal circumstances let me buy my own home.

Every cloud has a silver lining.

When the few have been making themselves rich at the expense of the many – I have no sympathy for those who have turned the ability to get a roof over a persons head impossible for so many (a most in society – if people obviously give a damn about a society and they should as they live in one). I consider owning your own home a right and those that have paid of their mortgage know what a liberation that this.

When people see a house as a home and not a way to get rich quick, then bring on that day!

Good artical ,but why do they use people who are already on high wages . If I was on £28-£30,000 a year , I would have saved a huge deposit by now .

  • Bring it on. House prices became dangerously and damagingly high years ago. Give the next generation a chance.
