Statement from the Other US presidential Candidate Ron Paul

A Word From Ron Paul

"All Federal Reserve meetings should be televised just like the proceedings of Congress, and they should once again make all information on the money supply available. I also favor legalizing competing currencies. History is replete with examples of the inevitable failure of paper money systems, from our own founding days, to inter-war Germany, to the monetary crisis of 1970s Latin America. However, I believe that for our economy to be secure in the long term, Congress must reassert its authority and end the unconstitutional Federal Reserve. Finally, we must be willing to undertake regulatory reform. It would serve us well to revisit the myriad federal regulations that have stymied the innovative spirit of the American people. "

  • An absolutely cracking essay by Ron Paul. How I wish we had somebody like that running for Prime Minister here!

Couldn’t agree more. However, ultimately a country gets the politicians it deserves, which means that the US is not going to get Ron Paul but some NWO/CFR flunky – i.e., Obama, Clinton or McCain.

Harold, not necessarily, democracy is certainly swayed by the dollars put into candidates, controlled by yours surely, the banking elite!! So your statement is only true, to the extent that the populace does not recognise the threat to their enfranchisement, nor recognises the need to demonstrate about and fight for that right. But that action requires a massive critical mass, which is yet to come.

But it can come, because the same people who produce the artillary, the same people who fire it, are those who are capable of marching for peace.

An alternative US currency to the dollar would be interesting for countries like China with their mega $ reserves.

    I can imagine the conversation:

China: So, you say you aren’t accepting these Fed $s anymore ?
USA: Nope, we got new Ron Paul dollars now. Want some ?
China: But we got trillions of Fed dollars, what can we do with them ?
USA: Want to buy a combined heat and power boiler that runs on paper ?

    🙂

  • VoR – With China’s huge silver reserves, they may have the last laugh. How do you say “Do you want fries with that?” in Mandarin?

  • And it amazes me that so few people realise that there’s nothing Federal about the Fed – it’s a privately owned organisation!
