Greenbay will be pleased

Merthyr Tydfil Rockets Up In Value

Prices in the Surrey town rose from £1,988 per sq m in 2002 to £2,577 per sq m in 2007, a 30 per cent rise. ...........so I will be looking for a 30% fall, once the air clears.

Average prices in the town have shot up from £439 per sq m to £1,331 per sq m, the largest increase of any of the 403 UK towns surveyed. Merthyr Tydfil

  • Greenbay, yep you’re like the Heather Mills McCartney of this site. Rich and dumb and thinks they make sense!

When places like Merthyr Tydfil are having the largest increases per sq metre then you’re simply either at or very close to the top of a bubble. That and 100k garages tend to be the indicators that down is now the only way to go.

  • Greenbay – seeing as this is an anonymous site, would you mind giving us details of all your property holdings, so we can monitor how much you are losing on a daily basis. We could have some kind of “How-poor-is-greenbay-ometer” on the home page. It would also quantify your VI.

    Waddya fink?

I think Merthyr Tydfil is pronouced “effindumpo”.

By the way there’s a nice narrow gauge railway there, worth a ride if you happening to be passing!

  • Fallin…a bit off the beat(en)/(and) “track” for me. I’ll take your word for the pronounciation ;-).
