The newbuild market is gone!

Don’t fall for the freebies offered by package home developers

an example of how the media tune is changing. but my favourite is the reader comment who sums up the lack of brain of typical BTL investor: "Simple principle in finance, the less you pay for a high value asset, the more risk you take on. You are then compensated for the additional risk by high returns. Warren Buffet Wannabe, London"

Nothing is more expensive than a free lunch, as clealy exemplified by the Bliars, whose reputation is now in tatters once their insatiable pursuit of anything and everything freebie, not least the cow’s notorious and well-documented ‘freebie shopping’ in Australia which left the store manager stunned with the trolley fully loaded with her claim, though just a free item or two was originally intended as a genture.

You would think that a shred of common decency may have made her pause for thought?

Maybe she thought it was Supermarket Sweep?
