The number of Americans signing contracts to buy previously owned homes fell more than forecast in November, signaling f urther deterioration in housing.

    The odd thing is that the US is now in it’s 3rd year of falling prices and we’re just skirting having our first few months of ’em. I don’t really see why we’ve been immune thus far but the media and Property Porn programming have had a huge part to play IMHO.

    I find a lot of denial or disinterest out there. The years of property programs seem to have had a deep impact on this country. I supect most people just blank out bad news as having nothing to do with them. A lot of people I know are far more interested in the latest computer gadgets than economic news.
