The dreaded ”R” word……
Recession fears as manufacturing drops
It's coming, no doubt about that........''Output in November drops 0.1 per cent, prompting warnings that the manufacturing sector is heading to recession.'' ''Manufacturing succumbed to its second drop in output in three months in November, sparking warnings from City economists that the British industry could slide into a new recession later this year''

Manufacturing? What manufacturing? I didn’t know there was any left in the UK…

It pisses me off that to get any reduction in house prices we have to undergo a recession – what a farce! I work doing high-end computer 3D graphics and my line of work is probably going to suffer. I can’t now bail out of the UK either as Sterling is being sacrificed on the HPI alter and house prices have yet to fall in any meaningful way.
Nice one Gordon, thanks for erasing the chance of a decent life in the UK!

I’m in the same boat. I will almost certainly get laid off.
I thought GB said no more boom & bust? Well, we have had the boom………

BB – What do you mean no manufacturing. We are world leaders in the manufacturing of Bands, Statistics and Reality TV shows.
