  • I agree, but Ealing W5 prices have always been unafordable to most people, I know i rent near here, just about.

What I have noticed in the last 4 weeks, i have counted 27 new for sale boards spring up (across about 8-9 streets), I counted them while getting a breath of fresh air at lunchtime, about 4 of these have sold. But this definitely looks like panic selling by a few people who have judged the top of the market, a good sign.

This always was an overpriced area, so if they are selling here I am sure the same is happening elsewhere.

Trust me, if the “nice but dim” type are selling then something is up.

Friends of mine flogged their 2 bed Ealing 2-up-2-down last year for £350k to some loony FTBs. I reckon they were lucky as that area seems decidedly frothy IMHO. London HAS to feel the pain soon.

  • I would like to make a speech to all those who live within the M25: –

“Take it from me you uneducated southerners, London is a gutter!”
