  • Someone should be investigating the financial authorities. Billions of dollars have been wiped off shares in recent weeks, the world is in the middle of a mini economic meltdown (or possibly at the start of a major meltdown – who knows?) and suddenly the authorities realise they might have been misled by some vested interests. Wow, who would have thought?

  • Hey guys, everyone knew what was happening. My mate is a minion in a slick hedge fund and he says everyone knew what was going on before last Easter, but they all sat on their hands.

The truth is: the US were selling duff products to the Chinese, just like the early American traders selling duff gear to the red indians for gold. History repeats itself.

Remind me, who is going to trust the US authorities in the future…?

  • Anybody remember Andrew Large of the MPC committee: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Large

I think he expressed some signficant concern at the time that rates needed to be higher.

Did he not have a role of monitoring the stability of the financial institutions.

I also remember he left a little early. Maybe saw the writing on the wall and the futility of railing against the majority . All speculation.

Rachel Lomax now has that role doesn’t she?

I must admit that this is all from snippets i have read and cant really remember – so it could be wrong.
