Stock market starts registering property problems

British Land fears property slowdown

Over the past month there has been mounting evidence of a "slow down" of commercial property profits. Careful here: profit are subdued but both retail and financial businesses are at all time high... why? because property values have run wild. I do not want to think of what may happen if the economy stops running at 200 mph

  • Given that British Land was/is nothing more than a shell company owned by American Investment banks (JP Morgan + Morgan Stanley), and given that they have already ‘cashed out’ by becoming a REIT, crocodile tears over the brewing storm (largely created by the same investment banks for their own benefit) are a little sickening really.
