  • Why is anybody surprised that lenders become more strict with people purchasing a falling asset class? That’s what happens in a crash, it is self reinforcing. Its what will happen here as soon as London starts falling.

What a surprise – ever since the crash in the USA started, the ‘experts’ have been revising their predictions of an upturn further out, week after week. The same will happen here – a slow slide started by stretched punters, investors cashing in and sentiment and building snowball-style into a full crash. Of course the ‘experts’ here will, ridiculously, follow the same path – firstly, a congratulations on achieving the ‘soft landing’, followed by reports of stabilisation, followed by monthly predictions of ‘an upturn in 6 months’. Finally, the questions will start to be asked.
