Prices are falling! This time it’s confirmed!

Is the house price boom over?

House prices are falling in four regions of the country! now that even Daily Rag bleats about it, it's more than confirmed! check the comments!
House prices are falling across wide areas of the country, it has been revealed. This could signal the end of the 11-year property boom. Alarm bells sounded after official figures from the Land Registry showed prices slipping in four of the ten regions into which it divides England and Wales. It is the first time in seven years that prices have fallen in so many areas in a single month. The overall national figure still shows a rise, but this is because the continuing boom in London is seriously distorting the picture. In other parts of the country, the bubble appears to be bursting.
• Whatever happened to the report that Richmond in London fell 53%?

Tis was from the Land Registry itself and was then pulled.

Alistair Campbell and Peter Mandhelson’s obnoxious tentacles don’t reach that far do they?

    Oh the power of media!!!

Bit too early yet, hopefully by next year it will be crashing though. Still up in 6 regions only down in 4. The Express has the complete opposite article today.

  • “Mr Donnell, a prominent expert in the housing market whose predictions have regularly proved accurate, even warned that his four per cent forecast may be optimistic.

He blamed the slowdown on soaring interest rates.”

Gosh if the odd quarter point tweak every 3 or 4 months is defined as soaring what would 0.5% every month be? Just goes to show what a basket case the UK economy really is. With Inflation indicators all on the upside the horrible reality of the MPC’s shortsighted stupid little money game is now starting to unwind. Take out a big mortgage at your peril.

  • I think this article in the DM healds the start of the long awaited reversal. Forget London for the time been, there’s too
    many Russians cleaning mob money.
