15k is nothing. Average house price in the UK is over 200k. If you were a first time buyer and had 15k instead of owing 15k and your salary was 30k but the average house price is 200k, what difference does it make? Having 30k extra counts for nothing.
So the perception is “why save”? Screw it and get a car, plasma TV, hash and some decent holidays.
