Stock market crash coming soon

CNBC Europe

We all know a stock market bear market is nearing soon
If the S&P 500 index goes above its Feb peak in the next few days then it will run higher until mid June.
If it doesn't then the secular bear starts from here

  • Technical analysis IMHO is mostly B/S
Did Safe Haven maybe realize that in the same years 1942/42 US was at war with Germany and Japan
    Certainly not uneventful times…

I agree all this analysis has to be taken with a pinch of salt.

The fact is that there is going to be very few ways of making any money in the future.
With stocks, property and possibly commodities heading south as many western economies head into recession in 2008.

Real interest-rates after tax are negative.

Shorting the major stock markets as we head into a secular bear could be very profitable if you get the timing correct

  • Surely the rally from Sept 1945 was due to Japan’s surrender?

On the other hand the graphs are pretty – and look good.

Perhaps it reflects investor sentiment – and that these ‘irrational’ beings really do affect the market – leading to obvious cyclical booms and busts.

Well we will have to wait and see if there is a drop after Oct 2007 to 5,000.
