Merv calls the peak
House price boom is over warns Bank of England boss
The era of booming house prices and low inflation could be coming to an end, according to an ominous warning from the Bank of England. In an unusually strong alert, the normally cautious central bank said: "We cannot guarantee that the next ten years will be so 'nice'."

Comparedto the BBC this is a much more measured report of Merv’s speech.
I think that this proved that the editor of the BBC articles is a VI – and probably in the pay of some estate agent to keep talking the market up.
