And the response is swift……

No 10 hits out at Brown accuser

Downing Street has criticised a former head of the civil service who said Chancellor Gordon Brown operates with a "Stalinist ruthlessness". ......And... I don't think there is an argument for slander here.. .. does anyone object?

Look! This tiny world is full of conpiracies, isn’t it? I know that you know that I know that the Silky Teflon is still untired of obvious cheap spin and instigation such as this. Because (Silky Teflon) – (Spin & Lies) = Zero I believe that every morning when he wakes up, the first thing he will do is, to schedule the lies he is about to tell on the day. Funny thing is even kittens and toddlers playing around the corner know this, these days.

I know that this is in revenge for ‘a senior cabinet member’s leaking of Silky Teflon’s precise departure date ie 10 May, as reported on the Daily Mail a couple of days ago..

  • Is this the first in the salvo of a fight against the status quo that Brown will automatically be the next leader?

  • “…the first salvo…”?!

Come on there have been lots already. Just look back at some of the things that Charles ‘Fungus the Bogeyman’ Clarke has had to say about our wonderful chancellor. And then there was that website thingy a few weeks back, and so on.

  • IMHO, Gordon Brown is one of the worst Chancellors of all time, not the best. Times have merely looked prosperous and stable as we have spent the countries future.

Infact he has made the British business environment less competitive at precisely the time it needed to be more competitive. History will agree with me when the payment demands come in (amongst other things):

    Stagflation.

There will be continued weakness AND higher inflation.

25 basis point (0.25%) rate rises are an irrelevance.

A wait and see approach from the MPC has proved wrong thus far and will continue to be wrong.

Higher rates will be demanded to support Sterling.

As Sterling falls in value versus the Asian currencies there will be considerable imported inflation on some of the hi-tec goods we have enjoyed deflation on for a while.

Sterling is vunerable outside the Euro which has been selected to have some oil backing.

Sterling has a closer link to the Dollar although the United States still produces a considerable amount of things where we do not. And we all know what the Dollar is backed by.

The financial industry is one of the most easily moved in the world. If the business environment is not advantageous to it. It will be gone.

  • Reminds of the slander instigated by Tony Blair in that channel 4 film “The trial of tony blair”.

Let’s just hope the rest of it turns out right and he gets done for war crimes.

  • Gordon is a behind the scene’s loner and manipulator, I cannot think of anyone as ill suited the the position of PM.
