Further fall in UK unemployment

Unemployment in the UK fell by 29,000 between September and November to 1.67 million, official figures have shown.

  • I’d be interested to know if the goverment hired more people during this period. Maybe they are mostly nurses getting kicked out of the NHS.

  • I would be more interested in the job creation rate rather than the rate at which are not claiming unemployment benefit, much harder to fudge the first-the second is a joke when 5 million people of working age in this country dont work-but strangely not all claim unemployment benefit
