Thus an ambitious young "property-owner" at the first rung of the property ladder, shall remain living in a virtual "bed-sit" for the rest of his life, struggling to secure his 'seat' in the bathroom, every morning, exodus (え糞出す) from which will be impossible. The Japanese word in the bracket is too horrible to be voiced.

I've seen the flats they've buit in hounslow. Not exactly somewhere you can settle with someone, start or bring up a family. the front garden faces a main road, and instead of using a solid high fence they've put in steel a railing. so not only can you see people from the front and side, but drunken pub goers litter the gardens with everything from drinks bottles to fastfood wrappers. Although they do look very 'designer' with obtuse angles, very Miami Vice (the 80's one that is). Nice!

there's no place like home!
