Analysts predict personal insolvencies will top 100,000 this year

BBC: Bankruptcies set for big increase

Major banks are increasing their bad debt provision as personal insolvencies exceed 100,000 which is 3 times the total before the law changed 2 years ago.

Heh, I thought they may try and get the rate raise in there. If record numbers are already going bankrupt then it is a bit late to start blaming rates especially as we are still at historically low rates.
