Ten per cent deposit is new lure for buy-to-let investors

Two mortgage lenders this week relaxed their lending criteria to enable potential BTL investors to purchase their investment with as little as a 10% deposit.

  • I can’t see how the numbers can be made to stack up at 95% LTV.

    I stopped buying 2 years ago after 85% LTV stopped working.

  • As the lenders compensate and compensate to keep the BTL fools rushing in and the market afloat, the market is becoming more and more interest rate sensitive.

    Incredibly short sighted – it will all end in tears!
