Shelter comment on government failure to tackle housing shortage
Shelter - 20,000 more social rented homes needed each year

The Government should require all local authorities to build basic but sound properties to rent to low-paid but
essential workers, and other such people that cannot afford to buy their own home.
These properties could be called COUNCIL HOUSES.
