Nationwide HPI
May house price growth 'sluggish'
UK house price growth was "sluggish" in May, according to the latest survey from the Nationwide. Prices rose by 0.2% in May, against a 0.1% increase the month before, while annual house price inflation fell to 4.7% in May from 4.8% in April.

Ah, variation is the spice of life: the magic 0.1% for April, now 0.2%. Surely for the VIs that’s evidence of a “booming market”. Basically we’re right at the (statistical) top of the curve, waiting…
