OnlyMe
Bearish as usual but interesting that like MBS/CDO etc investors being herded into Junk bonds this time around as a result of fiddling with natural interest rate levels. Also comments on the definition of a bubble. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vz0wOccUwyY
The Masked Tulip
I watched this a few days ago - does he not now suggest that this might happen over several years and in that time there will be market rises?
WageslaveX14
Did he say that he can see the low coming 'in the next 6 or 7 years'??!!! Prechter is an idiot. I have had spells of getting very nervous before, but I am now starting to feel very panicky. Based on a few stories over the weekend, and now today's stories where Central bankers are now openly saying they want to inflate away debts, in my opinion, I think this marks the starting gun to a period of high inflation. I had been holding out for the Money Week/Hugh Hendry 'two years of deflation followed by a decade of inflation' scenario, but it now looks like we are going straight to inflation without passing Go. I have saved a respectable deposit over the last few years, and I've been well aware of all the arguments for buying gold for the last 3 years, but I've always thought it was a bit stupid, and that its value was only based on some people's hope that a new gold standard would be introduced at some point. I now think I might buy a substantial amount of gold.. Edited September 27, 2010 by WageslaveX14
