patprimer74
Tories play down promise of tax cuts. There we all were (well, some fools were) looking forward to tax cuts under the next government that the Tories promised was going to be theirs. Surprise, surprise! Another Cameron Flip-Flop! Tax cuts are cancelled according to Tory shadow minister! Should I buy a house today believing that the imminent (Hah!) Tory government will make me richer by cutting my tax? Should I rent or should I buy? I don't know about you, but I'm getting dizzy just watching these continual flip-flops: Tax cuts. "Sorry, no tax cuts - Labour's fault" More grammar schools. "Sorry, we like grammar schools but don't want any more. Or, do we?" Leave the EU. "Sorry, can't speak on that subject. We hope it'll go away." Spending cuts. " Sorry, can't tell you if there'll be any. Other than the old promise of every opposition party until they gain power 'We'll cut all the waste' which never comes to anything." flip-flop-flip-flop-flip-flop..................... So, what do you Tory followers think I should do about buying a house? Should I rely on a 'promised' Tory tax cut to help me pay for it? Well? p
