People who think this is going to be over in 18 months or so are more than just a little mistaken.

You're right. A lot of economists and journalists are predicting 25% fall over 3 or 4 years because 'that's what happened last time'. It's not like the 1990s, its far worse. We have a systemic banking crisis.
