Surely ground floor is cheaper because it requires more heating in the winter and insurance costs more? :P

And the top floor can benefit from free water coming down through the cracks in the roof and ceiling when it rains

No REAL price drops - just can't get away with price hiking too much..

Places are suddenly selling by me again!

If they drop stamp duty then things will be on the move again!!

Do you mean asking prices, or Land Registry verified selling prices?

Do you have any specific cases, shown on Property Bee, where an asking price has actually been raised, or do you mean that YoY London prices are increasing? I don't believe the former, unless it is an overpricing to allow for discounts, and the latter is just possible by a small percentage if you are looking at LR figures, but we must be very close to YoY falls in London now.

I'm not calling Troll - I'm genuinely interested to see what's going up in London.

£103k

and so the crash continues

I make that 10% off the next cheapest in 3 weeks.

I might need to lower my assumption that these will be 80k next year to 70k next year if this rate keeps up.

And remember some fool paid over 200k for one of these last year

edit: looks like this was the £114k one now down 11k on sale at a "bargain" £103k

I'm calling Bruno Powroznik for "ed_mirror", I know he got put away and this is a big bet, but it's uncannily close in tempo and writing.
