Silsden, New Houses - Prices Holding?

Recommended Posts

New Mill close advertised at from £185 000. Land registry of one sold in June at £200 000? Seems a bit odd. One would have expected someone to have haggled the price down.

Is there something I am missing? Awful lot of houses for sale around here and the prices on the land registry for the few others sold seem reasonable.

Load of new houses with sold sign on. Interesting to see what they went for.

Prices generally dropping. Bungaloes at £225000 last year now nearer £180000 and still not moving. Terraced houses around £100000 seem to be selling - but final prices nearer £85000 appearing on land registry.

Prices dropping. House nearby been up for ages. Down to around £150k.

Bungaloes dropping, but still OTT. New build has 'sold' signs. Curious to see what actual prices were when info becomes available.

A bit run down as old lady lived on her own. 3 bed on Daleswater on at £150k went for £132.5k so vacant posession and ann offer does work.

Terraces in Silsden below 100k which have not seen for a while.

Silden is a good location, road, rail, Dales, decent co-operative, decent places to eat out. Realistic prices sell. Plenty been on for ages at over inflated prices. Suspect a few sales are merry goe rounds A buys B buys C buys D buys A.

Land with planning permission being offered for storage. Reckon some fields bought speculatively are also being sold.
