Btl Negative Equity

The most pessimistic forecasters see prices dropping by 35 per cent from peak to trough – in which case S&P say about 30 per cent of homeowners – and more than half of buy-to-let and sub-prime borrowers – would owe more than their property is worth.

Loss on disposal, and cashflows not covering costs.

BTL lenders reigning in lending.

Where's the BTL margin call expert ?

BTL is our Sub Prime.

The mainstream media haven't caught onto to it yet. Its going to be very interesting to see what price the traditional BTL place (new build city centre flats) are eventually sold for in 4/5/6 years time.

I get the feeling alot may even be torn down due to such poor build quality.
