Time Stamps On Posts Are Wrong

I've checked how come the posts added to are not near the top of the page. It seems the time stamps placed on the posts in each topic are all over the place. They are out of sequence or 1 hour behind.... or something! Moderators attention required?

On this forum - no posts marked as read?

Anecdotals - sometimes

England - South East - as normal

Odd, odd, odd.

Still, less bizarre than the property 'market'!

ED: And new posts not getting shifted to top - sometimes a ^5 does it, other times not.

Ha! It's so funny looking at all these posts from before the Great Crash.

Now that houses cost a years wages, and banks rent their offices from the people, no-one really comes here any more, but with this time-shift malarky I can still pretend...

Under 'board settings', I've de-selected auto correct DST an then ticked the box saying "daylight saving time is in effect".

Let's see if that works.

Edited to say: Nope, still 1 hour behind.

The db could be storing the UTC date rather than the current datetime...

or i could be talking rubbish :)
