Fsa Arrests Eight In Insider Dealing Raids

Recommended Posts

The Financial Services Authority (FSA), the City regulator, has arrested eight people and searched premises across the South East of England, including London, as part of a major investigation into insider dealing rings.

Today's operation involved 40 FSA staff, as well as officers from the City of London police.

It is part of the regulator's ongoing work to combat market abuse, which has seen it bring three criminal prosections this year.

No further details of today's operations were immediately available.
