Caroline Flint Interview In The Tribune

Recommended Posts

Caroline Flint: If you had asked anybody this time last year, including people who have spent their lives in this sector, whether building homes or selling homes, no one could have predicted such a drop in such a short space of time.

Hell no, no one could have predicted that could they? Who'da thunk it?

Cue: Frankie Howard

Oooooooooooooooh no Madam, what could you have been thinking.......

Not to have seen this mess coming 12 or even 24 months ago would be akin to the watchman on the Titanic calling the iceberg 3 minutes after impact.

Anyone see the poll on the link, makes you worried about the future of this country (or the readership of the paper concerned I suppose):

Should people be compelled to work for their benefits, if they are able to do so?

Yes 4048% of all votes

No 4452% of all votes

Total Votes: 84

All ********, but part of her job is to maintain social control ( I know, the sheeple must be really thick), coming out with the truth - massive overbuild,no more cheap credit, eastern europeans going home, big job losses etc etc = massive 70%+ correction in the housing "market", which in turn = problem solved, is just not something she can say just now. Liebour are just trying to position themselves as "helping". Things are starting to hot up really quickly. More bad news from the banks will just set us off on another tail-spin towards the final destination of large scale collapse and a spike in the sales of toilet paper.
