Governments target of 3M homes is not going to be met, developers not prepared to invest the money to build. How long will it be before the VI's come back with the supply / demand argument. She knows this is a stupid idea - maybe she's beginning to realise that you don't need to build 3 million new homes when there are so many empty or when second home buyers could just snap them up and leave them empty for most of the time. .
