The Most Tragic Example Of Bad Marketing, Ever

Recommended Posts

This one brought a chuckle to my cold, dark heart.

Found on Rightmove - Franklin Street, Hull, HU9 1JQ

"We are pleased to market this unique duplex conversion with modern fixtures and fittings to a high standard, communal areas with laminated floor covering and painted Muriel's"

Yeah, Muriels.

The jokes just write themselves. don't they?

That is one of the worst I've seen. At least it didn't say, "Comprises of sort after painted Muriel's, this is loft living at its finest!"

According to Property Bee, this one was first spotted by 'Basil Fawlty'. Maybe he's gone into BTL now the B&B business is on the wane.

Shall add that gem to my collection of flower boarders, shower cubicals, etc.

Hilda Ogden in Coronation Street used to refer to her mural as a 'Muriel' - it became a long-running joke at her expense.

Perhaps the estate agent is trying to be ironic or amusing...

...or perhaps he's just as thick as pigshit!

Either way, I don't think he's going to get rich any time soon!

Either is indeed possible...

It's the extraneous apostrophe that puts the icing on the cake.

I'm confused, there's no picture of the bedroom but two of the landing...........

Is a Roof Lite the same as a roof only not quite as robust?

Great find, I so needed the chuckle!

I was going to mention my own muriels, but of course that would be stupid as the details read 'Muriel's'.

Roof lite? Everyone knows they are less fattening!

"These apartments would make a great investment opportunity" if the asking price was £5.48. Sadly, we`re asking a tad more than that, so avoid.
