i reconize some of these properties from another aution site.

No way am i going to buy up some ex council house on an estate far up north and pay 70-90k for it.

During a crash flats become very hard to move as FTB's will leap frog that part of the market.

Since many of these properties are re listed from last month then i can only guess the owners agreed to lower the asking price but it looks like it's too late and no bidder are biteing :lol::lol::lol:

I was looking at these in '96, they were around £120k then. Don't think we will ever see those days again, but who knows.

(I didn't miss out though, I bought something better, for far less. Great days).

Yes i agree it will go un sold and more than likly below my bid.

Who was so stupid as to buy lot 26 at 136k

Looks like it's getting worse each month but give it time and all these properties will sell just not at todays aution price.

Probably very true, but this overlooks the excellent transport links to the city.

Langdon Hills is close to Basildon, but is actually part of Laindon. I know a number of people on 6 figure sallaries that commute to the City from Langdon Hills (around 25 to 30 mins I seem to recall).

However, schooling is poor, that is what put me off the area.
