Bloke Arrested For Claiming Ea Bankrupt

Recommended Posts

But can't find URL online yet.

Some bloke's been done for harrassment after police had complaints about letter being circulatred about a local EA going bust.

Now it's interestingly one who disappeared off right move but came back after a month.

There's a bigger story there.

But of course they advertise in the papers.

Edit: good old google news

The hoaxer sent faxes to more than 500 key clients and institutions alleging the firm was being wound up last week.

The claim was backed up with a falsified document stating a compulsory winding up order had been presented and advertised in the London Gazette.

i read this thread as EU not EA

what a silly thing to do.

they can always track your fax number.

Now the hoaxer should have started a thread about "should i fax malicious rumours about a EA going bust"

Apparently an EA has gone bust, someone in the pub said they saw it on a fax. There you go, rumour up and running.
