Cogs
There will be folk snapping up the bargains 'before the credit start flowing again....cos it will soon'.Don't forget that the HPCer is still a relatively rare breed. Only when total calamity hits in a couple of years with no sign of turning out nice again, will the majority get the message. I agree. I nearly posted a topic on this because I've noticed all talk of the "Credit crunch" (even the name in a sense) is very temporary. The thing is, if we take a step back and consider which event was the more unusual, houses trebling in price in a few years or lenders requiring deposits and charging a significant premium for lending money... Funny how "good" news is the new paradigm but "bad" news is a "blip".
Laura
Polite message to the OP. I clicked onto this thread yesterday expecting either an obituary, or news that the dear ramping lass had freaked out again. I future could I ask you to be a little more specific in the title to avoid disappointment.... (much as I love auction news) Thankyou. NB:- I am not in any way implying that the ambiguity was in any way deliberate .... you scoundrel
CharlieChuck
Bit of a bump, but the second half of this auction was this afternoon Bidding in action (though it's probably ended now) http://www.realbid.co.uk/realbidresi/gallery.asp and if you click on the results button it'll take you to a new page with the sold prices. Looks like a few northern houses have gone for the sub 60,000 mark order of sale (click on the online catalogue) Edited July 17, 2008 by CharlieChuck
