He said he wants SWFs to come in and "invest" (i.e. enslave us) in his new nuclear plants.

He said he welcomes foreign banksters to come in and "invest" (i.e. enslave us) by buying up our banking system.

He let slip that "we" have in the last few weeks supported (can't remember his exact word) another institution. Clearly he was referring to B&B, and he mentioned he knew Santander were looking at taking over A&L several months ago.

Oil prices - yadda yadda, not my fault

Food prices - yadda yadda, not my fault

Global problems - yadda yadda

well place, flexible economy (i.e. bent over and ready to be shafted by whoever ponies up some cash)

Oh and of course - carrying knives won't be tolerated 'cause a few dozen people stabbed each other.

Useless f*ckwit.

Yeah, only breeding pairs matter at the moment, seems fashionable.

As for "rude financial health", he seriously said that?! Was he referring to ex-PMs and ex-BBC executives?

I doubt Thatcher will get a State funeral. I think only 9 non-royals have received one: Duke of Wellington, Charles Darwin, Nelson, Churchill etc.. I don't think she's quite reached their eminence!

Interestingly, Disraeli turned one down in his will according to wiki.

Yes it was in the papers ..... looks like its not only property that is experiencing the process of devaluation (State Funerals as well). What is the 'argued' justification for MT receiving a state funeral????? WC took us through a World War, MT took us through the Falklands .... is that it????

I'd guess it would be the fact she was the first female PM, or because she had the longest stint in modern times.

A bit off-topic, but may be of interest:

Just watching the bbc 1 pm news with a live report from the prosecution of Anne Darwin 'Canoe - back from the dead case'. The reporter said the proscution alleged that they had an IO mortgage which was about to reset, as part of the reason they committed the faked death fraud.

(link about the trial generally, not IO fraud pressure allegations)

Following which there's the burial.

Some years back The Guardian ran a competition for the best epitaph for her gravestone.

Second placed was:- "Here lies Margaret Hilda Thatcher. This space licensed for singing & dancing"

But the outright winner was this:-

"Here lies Margaret Hilda Thatcher.

To read epitaph, insert 50 pence."
