Now that Britain's premiere fluffy ball bashing fortnight is over for this year I think it is time for an in-depth analysis of how house prices have soared (or not) either near the venue or nationally.

Being away from the sceptered isle I no longer have my finger on the pulse, so what effect has the event had this year please?

'Tis the converse Petal, Fionawhatsherface made no reference to Wimbledon in her incisive summary this June. Last year, a goodly part of the prologue addressed the event and the prevailing weather during the opening days.
