In Your Best Interests For A Run On B & B To Happen?

Recommended Posts

Would it be in the best interests of accountholders if B&B became the 2nd bank in 10 months to be the subject of a run?

Of course, it would be terrible for the taxpayer and rather inconvenient for that whole "moral hazard" thing. However, if runs on banks are going to be a yearly event for the next few years, would it be better for your account to be one of first those insured by the fact that the Government would now "temporarily" own it?
