An 'Equity Loan for Relocation' scheme is already available to help people in demolition areas bridge the gap between the value of their current house and the cost of moving into a replacement home.

The Home Improvement Trust has special deals with banks and building societies to provide the low-cost loan. All the loans are aimed at people who don't qualify for commercial loans available at high street banks.

UPDATE: They're considering FTB on the list. To kick start areas which have slumped.
