I pity the people who bought the domains after buying into the "internet makes you a billionaire" website.

Alternatively, I suspect that the domains aren't actually sold, they just have "sold" labelled on there to encourage people to buy.

There is money on the internet, but you have to be smart, skilled and/or hard working.

Even the trick where you can take advantage of the intro offers on online casinos and stooze money out of the blackjack games takes a lot of patience and commitment.

A good business model is to undercut paid-for services with a free alternative supported by advertising. The guy who made the first free online dating site currently earns £2 million a year for zero work... he simply sits back and watches the ad revenue roll in.

Moneysavingexpert is also another example of how to make a killing, and that site doesn't even use annoying ads. Simply provide what people want to see on the internet and you're sorted.
