Longest Time On Sale, Smallest Reduction

Recommended Posts

Here's one I've been watching:

for sale from last August at least, OIEO an eyewatering £300K - finally reduced yesterday - by all of £5K!

August is nothing. Some people I know have been on the market since January 2007. Also, this cottage is not worth £220,000 and everyone knows it, including prospective buyers by the looks of things.

This has been up for at least a year. Deceptive description as I would describe it as a flat - there is no back door / no rear windows - it's all at the front with neighbouring properties to the side & rear.

Reduced by 10k and now up with 3 agents.

Estate agents? Deceptive? Never!

Perhaps a more realistic profile would thus:

"An old Georgian style flat, Grade II listed Building which rules out any kind of improvements."

PRICE: £158,000

i win i win

this one has been on sale for over 3 years

the starting price was 1.4 million and is now 1.35 million

ive been watching this all the time, because i did some work on it just before it was put up for sale.

i recon its realy worth about 650k, perhaps 400k if things get real bad and they sell at the drop. But no way on earth is that house worth 1.35 mill.

ive posted this house on here a few times

hey boss it aint gonna sell

Overpriced hole

On the market since Autumn 2006 with a 10K drop earlier this year to a bargain £390K. Funny thing is I know someone who offered them £375k 18 months ago (mad, I know - "but it's Wilmslow, and prices only ever go up here....") and was turned down flat! Saw them a few weeks ago and they told me what a lucky escape they had getting turned down! :P

I would not pay more than £250,000 for this property, and even at that price I would be reluctant, I think.
