Slumpmonkey Returns
Why does the press give this fool such good coverage?
Guest sillybear2
The swaps market seems to disagree with him, which means his powers of positive thinking are utter BoKloks
@contradevian
Why does the press give this fool such good coverage? I suspect because he hires a good PR guy to ensure he gets constant coverage. Same reason lots of celebrities are "in the papers." They have PR.
blankster
How much do the major mortgage lenders need to give out new mortgages, I wonder? How well are they doing from existing captive cash-cow borrowers? I don't know - can anyone enlighten?

They have PR. Yeah his firm really pushes their PR, with a relatively big budget considering the size of the firm, according to my Journo mate. Apparently the whole John Charcol ship is going down though, they've already sacked a load of people and the founders had to buy a share from a private equity fund and are now propping it up with their own money.
