Bear Stearns Boss Bails

Recommended Posts

This is the whole point of the bailouts. Allow the people in power to escape with as much of the money as possible, leaving the taxpayer to foot the bill.

He shouldn't be getting away with this, they should jail all the top brass along with Ben Berbanke for the crimes they perpetrated.

Chances of this? 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000: 1?

You're so right Eric. There should be rioting on the streets.

Utterly shameless. Still at least he took a $940m haircut from the peak price last year!

Bear Stearns' Cayne sells over $60M in stock

Well, he's not out of the woods completely yet...

"While he has not yet moved into his new apartment at the Plaza, which he bought for about $26 million this month, people who have spoken with him say he still has plans to do so, as soon as he sells his current residence on Park Avenue."

Wonder if he will be able to sell? :)

Not saying any of these top bosses have broken the law, but they should all be lined up, and their pulse rate monitored while someone says 'Enron, Enron, Enron, Enron......'
